9 months and no case officer, is it normal?
Hi everybody
I lodged my online application for subclass 175 on 23rd November 2009; however, after 9 months no CO has been allocated to my application and I am beginning to worry.
Does anyone know if it it normal? Do you think I should expect a longer wait?
I appreciate if you share your own experiences.
Some details of my case:

Biomedical engineer ( new SOL list). Previously on priority processing 7. After July 14th on CAT3.

Everything is normal for Australian Immigration. Even a wait of 3 years is normal for them. Don't worry and chill. I had lodged almost 1.5 year back and still nothing not even online status change.

Well, I applied mine in Sept 2008 (almost 2 years) and still no CO allocated.

dear my suggestion is that you will wait for 4 years because where you lodged ur application is not seems a department,
it is known as Department of Indefinite, Arrogant & Characterless.you better know what the australian government in its own.
this is my personal experience.I lodged my paper based application for BN subclass 136 on 24th january 2007 under referigeration and air conditioning mechanic, but unfortunately my visa has been capped & ceased after 3&1/2 years.
so my co allocated on 18 february 2009 and then he visited on my workshop afterthat i faced bad news.it is possible for everyone.
so do ur job in india regularly till ur co will allocated.........wait for long time with cool mind

dont worry my dear friend i logded my application on dec 2007 23rd , i am also waiting for the same , let me wait , my priority is 5 , what v can do , only thing is to wait ,

Dear friends, thank you all for sharing your experiences.
DIAC advises that 175 applications in CAT3 which were lodged before July 2010 will be finalized before DEC 2011; however, considering the facts that you said I'm not sure whether they can make it.
dear eswara, I can't figure out how your application is in priority processing 5, since, as far as I know there are only 4 CATs at the moment.maybe you should check your application status again. Or maybe I am mistaking.

as per diac guidelines r priority processing in website they said 3 yrs from date of logding application and i am having state territory sponsorship before one years it self ,
