HI DEAR,

I am from India, my occupation is Office Manager, South Austarlia State Sponsored non CSL. My medicals and police clearence are uploaded on 10/09/2009. Few of things are shown required but all are forwarded instead of spouse ielts. My job verification is also not done.

There's no need to stress, you haven't done anything wrong. It's all OK.

Firstly, can I just clarify that I didn't say DIAC would carry out an employment verification; I said it might. Employment verifications aren't always carried out; it's up to the CO.

But even if it does, the fact that you've changed jobs won't impact at all on the decision about your visa grant.

Remember how when you lodged your visa application, you had to provide evidence that you'd worked 3 out 4 years and 12 out of the past 24 months in your nominated occupation, or one closely related? That's what DIAC checks when it does job verifications.

It will do absolutely no harm to let DIAC know about your new job, but the fact you've changed employers since you lodged your application won't affect DIAC's decision at all.

Thank you very much. I was really worried thinking that something would happen to my Application.

Yes, I had the relevant experience when I lodged it. My new job is also in the same feild. Anyway, I informed my agent and he asked me that I have to fill a form and attach the new letter of appoinment.

Dear prasana

I'm at the same status as u 're.All my documents are "MET" on 16 June 2010 including PCC and Medicals.
But my Form 80 is not shown at the documents list till yet.Can you please share your current status of Visa and form 80 status.
I got an email response on 22nd April 2010 that my application is undergoing routine Internal Checking as a response to my PLE.
I 'm from Pakistan with CSL+MODL (Electronics Engineer).I applied on 20 August 2009 VE 175 online.and Co was allocated on 20 October 2009 and submitted Form 80 on 29 October after receiving a request from CO.Then again submitted Form 80 on 16 December 2009 with some corrections.

Hi Gillgee,

I am not very sure about FOrm 80.... I think I submitted when I lodged the application in June 2009.

Online application stated "met" for all my docs as per end of May, and no news after that.

I'm from Sri Lanka, CSL, Accountant

Can u please advise me whether to email CO for Form 80 status inclusion on my documents check list or NOT?

CO himself didn't include Form 80 status on my documenst check list.

Hi GIlgee

It would do no harm at all to email your CO and ask about your Form 80, particularly as he requested it. It's a valid concern and it has been quite some time since you submitted the updated Form 80.
