Update on Category 5 applications

HI all

 

DIAC has announced that Category 5 state or territory sponsored applicants can expect to hear from a Case Officer by 31 May 2012.  Interesting wording - all state or territory sponsored can expect to "be contacted" by a CO; but only s/c 487 can expect to be "assigned to and contacted" by a CO.

 

No news yet on Cat 5 independent or family sponsored.

I know you are a very positive person, but sometimes the life become so comlecated that we can not think anything so positive.

By the grace of Allah I think everything will be fine with all of us in the same boat.

pc and medical will be given anytime but still confused about the final result.

We were cat 5 onshore skilled independent, we got a case officer 3 weeks ago and today got permanent residency, yippee we have been here since 2006, thank you for this web site it has kept us informed and hopefull. Good luck to all still waiting .
