Annual update of Skilled Occupation List – 1 July 2011

The Skilled Occupation List (SOL) has been updated. There are 13 occupations added and four occupations have been removed.

Hello Jaspreet

I have read with confusion on subclass 176 family sponsored . Could you advise me which group is sub class 176 family sponsored? Is it group 3 or 5? (based on the recent July 1st announcement on priority visa processing)

Dear Albert,

If your skills are on new SOL 1, then your priority will be priority 4. Other wise, If you got the state sponsorship, then you will be in priority 3.
