Well.. It depends on your occupation and availability of the jobs related to your occupation there. Some of the regional areas like Ballarat and Horsham that are around 90 and 270 km from Melbourne respectively are very well developed like any other city area. Moreover, not many people are going to such distant places to work. Only the people living there must be working there itself and some migrants I guess. So, getting a job there will be easier than getting a job in Melbourne. Moreover, these places are full of natural beauty, nice environment, open and peaceful. Rest it all depends on your capability.
