Dear Susan ! Pls help out the CSL candidates
Dear Susan ! There has been much worries,long waites and frustration among the CSL candidates ( 175 visa,off-shore)about the fate of their cases.
Most of the CSL candidates ( my assumption as per members's input ) are waiting over 9 months for finalization or so. Some got calls for medicals & PCC & others not.
Pls come out with your kind help and advice and shed light on the following issues to satisfy the worried CSL cadidates :
1- How many CSL cases are still pending ?
2- Up to which month ( date of lodgement ) cases have been finalized ? And on which month processing has been strated ? ( You have mentioned in a post that ASPC has started processing on Nov,09 CSL cases. My case is of May'09 and I am still waiting for medicals & PCC. When I will receive call for medicals ? and approximately when my case would be finalized ? )
3- After how much avergae time is taken for visa issuance after medicals ?
4- Any other relevent & valuable piece of info.
Pls do reply as hundreds of candidates would be waiting for your kind reply.

I think it's difficult for Susan to reply the above questions. Most of the questions are fall under the DIAC jurisdiction, not the migration agent. She won't know until a formal announcement. Even if she has any inside news, it won't appropriate for her to make announcement too as it might cause confusion to the applicants and increase the stress of the applicants.
Are you using an agent? If yes, I will suggest you to ask your agent to assist you on this. If not, you can make a call to the Adelaide Processing center directly to get the spontaneous answer. Since you are under csl, I think it's worth the try. I did call them earlier, listen for few seconds to the pre-recorded message, and then, follow the instruction, the officer answered the call. But do ready your TRN number so that the person can check immediately. The officer is very nice.

You people would be astonished to learn that, people who applied on 16th Dec, have got their visa granted last week. While our cases are long pending. I emailed my CO last week. The reply was robotic. They got all my documents and case is with Case Office and is under further processing. No definite clue as to where the process is stuck at. One month after my employment verification and 3 months after PCC and Medical, I am now really wondering, how the candidates are prioritized and how can someone from my country get visa in mere 2 months while hundreds others wait for so long.I can't accept the logic that my papers were not strong, because I submitted more than enough documents to prove my job experience ( payslip,Bank statement, Reference Letter from CEO).

no one know the logic behind. if you browse other forums, most of the people were asking the same questions. Some 475, without co prior 23/09/09 and applied in July, suddenly just got visa. so, talking about logic, only the diac or co knows. But i think it's the speed of the co to process the applicants information and also the number of files being handled by one co and also depends on the co's manager speed to process the case too. so, there's lot of factors behind the scene.
