Got case officer on Friday..OMG...

I can not believe... Someone please pinch me...
MY FILE HAS BEEN ALLOCATED TO CASE OFFICER.. TODAY IS B'DAY... THIS IS AGIFT FROM DIAC ON MY B'DAY.. I HAVE BEEN ASKED TO SUBMIT MEDICAL, PCC AND FORM 80.....
HARD TO TYPE.. I WILL BE IN CONACT WTIH YOU GUYS SOON.

I was holding my breath since I got call from my agent that I have case officer. Now I am breathing normally friends. The news is that I got a case officer on 11 May 2012. And case officer is a lady from team 4. She has requested for medical, PCC and form 80. Now the big deal is the passport of my new born my one year old kid and PCC. My question is it mandatory to attach the passport of one year old baby? I have 28 days to submit everything. Thanks to everyone who pray for me on this forum. And I am really sorry if I hurt someone. Anyways I am holding myself from any kind of celeberation until I recieve any decision.

Hi Jaspreet Singh Bajwa!!

I am a 475 state sponsored south australia applicant. I was assigned a CO on the 15th of May 2012. If you dont mind could you tell me where you got ur PCC done? My husband and I are from Mumbai, but since we currently reside in Noida we got our medicals done here. We had our PCC scheduled today at Ghaziabad passport seva kendra. However we were told that we have to go to Mumbai to get it done, since our passport has the Mumbai address. Just wanted to check if it takes a day all over india coz we're loosing valuable time over this. 

Any advice would be great.

Oh that's true that you have to go to the office where your passport was  issued.I got my PCC from the same office from where my passport was. And one more thing was that this is my second PCC. As earlier also I got the PCC when I was allocated to case officer in 2008.

Hey Tapan,

Thanks so much! I tried to get an appointment for Mumbai. Unfortunately there are no appointment till the 7th of June. So i spoke to my agent. He said to send him a confirmation of the appointment on the 7th and he'll ask the case officer for an extension. Hopefully this should work. Fingers crossed and hoping for the best.

Could you please tell me the documents required to submit for the PCC. The website says only the passport if the current and present address is the same. Is there any other document  I need to take with me?

hi

you got to take 2 address proof like a ration card, Mtnl phone bill , active bank account passbook election id  Electric bill ( current month).these are some of the document accepted.they don't accept driving Licence, pan card etc.

Hey Nisha,

You need not to carry any address proof. Your passport is your address proof. So you need a copy of your passport. One self declaration form which you will get at Passport sewa Kendra. NOTHING ELSE. If you did your PCC before you must carry the copy of that too. I hope you will get the PCC in one day. Do you get the appointment?

I hope I can get the PCC in one day too coz the 28 days ends on the 11th of June and my appointment is for the 7th of June. Will see how it goes. I haven't applied for a PCC before. I want to avoid asking the case officer for an extension. But will have to wait and see how it goes. I will make sure I carry sufficient copies and the required documents. Thanks a ton for getting back to me.

And my 28 days will end on 8th June. And I am still pending with my little son's medical. I could not get his HAP id.I had submitted all the docs related to his addition to the applications. Now I am waiting for his medical.

Where are u? What happened to your PCC. If I am not mistaken today is the last date to submit your docs. What happened. Please inform us about your case.

I am waiting for the decision now. I do not know how much time it would take?
