Dear Jass,

I think you are on the same boat where i am. If you had applied for visa and before the visa your wife got pregnent then you have to inform your case officer regarding the pregency of your wife as soon as possible. Your wife will not xrayed in between the pregency, thats why you have to wait for till delivery. After delivery you have to inform your CO regarding the delivery and then your case officer recall the medical of your wife and new born baby. After receiving the new medicals the case officer give the decision on your application. Pregency will not adversely affect the case. You have to get a letter from your gaynecologist doctor regarding the pregnency and expected date of delivery and forward it to your case officer with the Form 1022(Notification of changes in circumstances).

Hope this information will help you to clear the pregency to some extent. This is the only one way, there is not any option other than that. I came to know all these things from dear Susan.

You have to wait till delivery because in pregency its not safe to travel and DIAC will not give visa to your wife during pregnency. I think you should request to Susan to know the better option. After delivery you could add your wife and child in your application.

Hi Jass

Dinesh has given good advice above!

Some doctors will X-ray pregnant women, but most will not because of the risk to the baby.

Regardless of that, once DIAC knows an applicant is pregnant processing of her aoplication will bne stopped until the baby is born. That is because the baby will also need to pass the health requirement to be granted a visa.

Best regards
Susan
