I lodged 176-State sponsored visa application in OCT 2010. I was assessed as Software and Applications Programmers Nec - 261399 by Australian Computer Society. After lodging visa application, I was assigned CO who asked me few questions via email e.g. employment evidence, gaps during my job and study etc. Since than, there is complete silence from DIAC.
Now, I have got very good job opportunity and the position is of Software Project Manager. I'm totally confused to accept new job offer due to DIAC. I'm hesitant if I accept the position of Project Manager and leave the position of Software and Application Programmer than DIAC may refuse my visa application.
Will things really go the way I'm thinking. Please guide me, should I accept new job offer or not? I'm only and only hesitant due to DIAC's decision.
Looking forward to your valuable suggestions
Regards,
SKN

DIAC assesses applications on your occupation at the time you lodged. If you met the requirements then, your application will be processed under 261399, regardless of your occupation at the time your visa is granted.
