casue I am also in same dilemma.
I got Job verification for 475 visa on 1st week of July 2010.

also your timeline please?






still I am waiting, nothing updats after that.

may I know what your online status shows?

Hi Vaibav,

I am from Punjab, India. I have applied in June 09, my job verification was done on 08/09/10. Status shown is application being processed further. Medicals and pcc are done.

I am in shadow nothing is pedictable.

Hi Preet,

It was physical, two persons from Aus. High commsiion came to my office and enquire my job with receptionist, and from my boss. Then they came to my office and see my job related documents and they ask my duties from me and boss.

I am not lucky as you people. i still stuck on state sponsorship for SA. applied for Sponsorship in 20 March 2010 as Network Security Specialist 2231-79 but after long waiting of 7 months they refused my application because they reached to the program for 2009-10 ??

i asked inquiry regarding question in this thread because i listen many time regarding 475 visa, Australian high commission do only telephonic inquiry for 475 .. but i wonder to hear they also do physical as well .!!

same here also VISA SUB CLASS 475 ( SOUTH AUS ) " OFFICE MANAGER ( 3291-11 ) & Verification Done : Personal Visit in ( March 2010 ) Telephonic Verification Done in ( August 2010 ) , still Waiting for VISA Approval

Time Line :

Apply in JUNE 2009
Medical in 2009
PCC in 2009
Personal Verification in March 2010
Telephonic Verification in August 2010

No News Since long Time ...

Firstly, I have to say, what a beautiful baby on your avatar! Absolutely adorable! :-)

Moving on to your question, DIAC doesn't have a service standard that it has to meet with regard to this part of the assessment process, because every case is different and the time it takes to finalise applications after job verifications depends on a lot of things - current workloads, DIAC's internal priorities, staff numbers etc.

In general terms, if you haven't heard anything in a couple of months, I suggest you make contact with your Case Officer.
