Here is a link to the Business and Administration Courses offered by TAFE South Australia.
"TAFE" is an acronym for "Technical And Further Education" and because they are run by the government, TAFEs are usually the cheapest providers of courses, as well as offering nationally recognised training and flexibility in the way they are presented.
I hope the link is useful for your friend.
Best regards

The TAFE has qualified advisors who will be able to give your friend the best advice.
He could ring them on 1800 882 661 or complete the form on this link: http://www.tafesa.edu.au/contact-us.aspx asking them which fee he would be charged and which course would qualify him for work in an office.
Best regards

Hi Susan,
I inquired TAFE on my frdns behalf. They replied me ...
"Fees are dependent on the visa or residency status at the time of application (if this changes you need to notify the TAFE SA campus immediately). Thus, if you are currently holding a 475 visa you would apply for courses through SATAC but pay International Student fees. Future visas that you gain do not affect your fee status – if you are not holding a 475 please let us know and we can advise on the visa you hold."
What it means?
What is SATAC?
If My frd is TR (475) then why he has to pay International student fee? as he has condition Must live, Must Study in regional area on his 475 visa.
When he will be able to pay normal fee (not International fee) ? bcoz normal fee os 2200 AUD but International fee is toooo much..
Plz suggest
Thanx
Ozzy

SATAC is the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre. It looks as though the full International Fee will be $5,000- that's a LOT of money for someone as highly skilled as your friend to spend with no guarantee it will get him a job.
I'm wondering why he says the problem is that he doesn't have qualifications in office work. There are many other reasons that he might not have been successful in obtaining a job in the clerical field.
Maybe the problem is related to wages - clerical and junior office jobs are often filled by young people aged between 15 and 18 - employers are allowed to pay them much lower wages than they can pay people over 21. So if your friend is competing with teenagers for a job, the employer is more likely to choose the person who they can pay a low wage to. In addition, the government provides subsidies to employers who employ young people as trainees. That makes them even cheaper to hire and even more attractive to employers in comparison to older employees.
Also, just another thought, does your friend have strong English skills? Particularly speaking and listening? The reason is that a lot of office work involves speaking on the telephone; if his English isn't around the IELTS 7 marks, employers might worry that he will not be able to perform as well as a native English speaker in that area.
Another issue could be that he is too highly qualified for office work, and employers might think he will leave them and move back into the well-paying computer field if he is able to find an ICT job.
Or maybe the way his resume is written highlights his computer skills and not his office/admin/clerical experience?
As you can see, there are many possible reasons that your friend might not be successful in getting office/clerical work. Because of that, I suggest he thinks very carefully before spending all that money on a course with no guarantee he will get a job at the end of it.
To answer your question about why he has to pay international fees, it's because your friend is a temporary resident. The cheaper fees usually apply only to Australian and New Zealand citizens and people with PR.
Best regards
