Status checking via sending blank email to "gsm.processing@immi.gov.au" isn't working

Hi,

I lodged 176-state sponsored PAPER-BASED application. I wanted to check status of my application and on some forum I red sending a blank email to gsm.processing@immi.gov.au will provide status of my application. I have sent around 2/3 emails on different days/times but it isn't working :(

Can anybody tell me how to check the status of my application? I have CO assigned should I send her email to ask about status ?

Regards,

SKN

Hi SKN...

I guess you are talking about this email:  aspc.processing@immi.gov.au

Regards,

Hi SKN

I agree with the previous poster.  Like him/her, I believe that the correct address is aspc.processing@immi.gov.au  However, an e-mail to that address will only produce a standard response about general timelines.

Is that what you want or do you want to ask a specific question about your own visa application?  If the latter, please see the link below:

www.immi.gov.au

On the right hand side of the home page there is a box that says "Contact us."  Please hit that and then follow the links to ask about the visa application that you have submitted.  Don't expect an intelligent response, but a dim-witted response should be forthcoming.....

It is tragic but DIAC seem to think that dim-witted will do, unfortunately.

Cheers

Gill
