How are things and any advice?

Hello!  My family and I are thinking of moving to Brissie over the next year or so and were wondering how you are all finding it - especially after the recent floods.  We are trying to decide whether to make the big move and also where in Brisbane to move to.  We lived there from 2006-2008 as a married couple but now have (almost - one month to go) two kids.  I have family in Brisbane west and also on the gold coast.

Any thought/ideas would be much appreciated we are going around in circles a bit with the enormity of the decisions.
