Are you going travelling, or to look into moving there? Let me know what you hope to achieve from your visit and I will make some recommendations.
In terms of the flight, try to get plenty of rest beforehand, and bring lots of water onto the flight (don't buy it until you're through to the departure lounge). Pack a good book, some face moisturiser and anything you think might help you sleep on the flight. When you arrive, it could take a week until your energy levels are back to normal (and you'll certainly feel pretty weird for the first day or so), so try not to plan anything too demanding at first.
Let me know what you want to do in Oz and I will have a think for you!

hi Alley,
I just came back from Australia a couple of weeks ago but have been there in and out for the past few months. I met people from different nationalities while I am there, so what i am trying to say is, there is not much to prepare for the trip (except for those necessities that you bring along to any other countries). Assies are a friendly bunch of people but still the best way to enjoy the trip is not to have any expectations. And I agree, moisturisers / sun block is one of the necessities. =D
