176 was launched on September 2007. In the latest update, they have only emphacised on processing of Pre september 2007 applicants. Let's hope that they announce some thing on remaining Category 5 applicants soon.

Thanks to both of you. Yesm both of true in saying that it's impossible to predict the processing peiod. But at least they have confirmed in their official website that they will process 495 and 496. Anyways I am waiting for 2012 to be a good…

that's not a good news !

so I am also going to apply for Provisional class . here in this website i noticed a a thing regarding 475 subclass, DIAC put this visa type into Category 7 from Category 5 so now its processing ll be slower then before !! so do u have any idea what is category 7 and 5 ?

about me i from Chandigarh. i already been in australia for a 1 year .
from profession i m IT professional. recently i got positive assessment from ACS in 'Network Security Specialist' in 20march i applied for State sponsorship IN SA for 475 subclass in 15 April they got all the required set of documents. and unfortunately DIAC put suspension on all the offshore application for certain GSM visa's !!

Now just waiting for confused Australian immigration new polices !!

hopefully all Australian states revile their SMP very shortly so sit with this one and only hope :)
